Smøla kajakk: Nordvågen
Round trip of 7.6 km, Difficulty: white (very easy) The Steinsøysundet paddle trip is a family-friendly route in sheltered waters, where there are good chances of seeing eagles. The route goes south past Storoterholmen and rounds Nordvågen in calm surroundings that are good for beginners. A suitable resting place for going ashore is at the north end, right after the marina.
Veiholmen: Haugjegla lighthouse
Round trip of 5.1 km, Difficulty level: green ((easy paddle) This family-friendly paddle tour starts in the charming fishing village of Veiholmen and goes through a beautiful archipelago of islets and narrow alleys towards the open sea. The route is about 5 kilometers long and ends at the 28-meter-high Haugjegla lighthouse, which towers at the very edge of Smøla.
Smøla kajakk: Steinsøya
Round trip of 7.7 km, Difficulty: blue ((medium difficulty paddle) Steinsøysundet – Steinsøya Rundt is a challenging paddle that takes you to the exposed outer side of Steinsøya in the open sea. The route offers magnificent contrasts, where the north and east sides require good skills, while sheltered coves provide opportunities for warm waters.
